Painted Trillum                

Painted Trillium is a Maryland-based three member Celtic band. They took their name from the three-petaled trillium flower. They perform pieces that range from fast paced reels and songs to airs and slow ballads. They also perform Christmas songs and tunes during the Holiday season and lead carol sings. They have been part of a feature on CNN and have performed in Maryland, D.C. and Minnesota. Some of their venues have included the French embassy, Merriweather, music festivals, private events and the Maryland Renaissance Festival. In 2010 Painted Trillium recorded with the metal band called Sound of Thunder on their album Metal Renaissance. You can hear them on the album’s track Wee Beastie.
